A quick glance at the ingredients of many products may not tell the whole story. In addition, not all products have the same ingredients. You may want to compare one product to another to see what the ingredients are, what they do and how they work. For example, a weight loss product may have one of the following ingredients: a product containing a sugar or a protein called whey protein, a protein powder or a fat based product, a vitamin supplement, a calcium supplement, a herbal supplement or a herbal product with added chemicals, or a chemical based product. Some products may also contain preservatives such as isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol and methyl alcohol. The above list may not be accurate as many products may contain many of the same ingredients but have a different name. For example, many weight loss supplements contain: a substance known as a chelating agent or a chemical called sodium stearoyl lactylate or a carbohydrate. These are just a few tips to help you decide which weight loss product may be best for you.
